Lifting can happen for a variety of reasons, but don’t worry, it’s usually something simple to correct. Here’s our troubleshooting checklist to help you get long-lasting results:

1. Proper nail prep is essential for adhesion. Be sure to follow the Light Elegance Nail Prep Method to remove oils, debris, and shine from the nail plate. Skipping or rushing prep is one of the most common causes of lifting. Tutorial here!
   
2. Many lamps on the market aren’t designed to cure professional-grade gels like ours. We recommend using the Light Elegance LEDdot to ensure your gels are fully cured. If you’re a busy nail pro, also check your lamp’s cure thickness regularly. See this tutorial here.
   
3. Select a bonding product that works best for your client’s nail type and the service being performed. The right bond layer helps your gel stay put. (Ex: Tack is our most versatile bonder, but for those clients prone to lifting, they may require AirBond before Tack!)
   
4. Thin, even layers are key, but don’t skimp on structure. For longer nails, be sure to build enough of an apex to prevent lifting from stress on the nail.
   

By following these steps, you’ll drastically reduce lifting issues and enjoy beautiful, long-lasting enhancements.

We always recommend checking with your doctor and/or dermatologist prior to trying new gel products if you have discovered you have a reaction to certain ingredients. It is also recommended that your allergy symptoms are completely healed before trying another system.

Light Elegance ships most orders same day when placed by 12 PM Noon Pacific Time. Exceptions exist during high volume times, US holidays and weekends.

Our return policy is 30 days. While we set-up our return policy to reflect purchase date (not delivery date) to return date (not return ship date), we try to remain flexible when at all possible. Returned items must be:

• Unopened or in NEW condition just as you received it
• Not be marred or adulterated in any way
• Accompanied by a copy of the receipt
• May be returned only after approval from LEHQ by phone or email.

Deviations from the above conditions may result in a partial or no refund or credit.  We do not accept returns on the following:

• Education, video or electronic items
• Trade show sale items
• Gift cards. Gift cards never expire but are not available for refund. 

Items to be returned are shipped at the customer’s expense. Customers will not be reimbursed for shipping costs unless pre-approved in writing by LEHQ management.
