Lezlie was running her own luxury salon, while Jim was working with polyurethane systems in wood products and transportation. Beyond their affinity for each other, they shared a passion for formulating safer, better-performing products. They established LE and haven’t looked back since. The tradition of innovation continues with the next generation, Lexy and Joseph.

WHY IS LE HEMA MONOMER FREE?
Why does Light Elegance avoid using HEMA and other common monomers?
At Light Elegance, we prioritize safety and quality over cost. While many brands use HEMA monomer for its low cost and strong adhesion, it is known to increase the risk of allergic reactions. That’s why we choose to formulate without HEMA, HEA, IBOA, and other high-risk ingredients.
What makes Light Elegance products safer?
We use only the highest-quality raw materials and carefully select ingredients less likely to trigger allergic responses. All of our formulations are developed from scratch at our facility in Redmond, Oregon by in-house chemists committed to clean, safe, and high-performance products.
