Officially Obsessed: A Gel Love Story (and I Can't Pick Just One!) by Elaine Watson

Hey fellow Nail Pros! Elaine Watson here, the Global Education Director at Light Elegance. It's been a whirlwind since I joined the team in October of '23, and let me tell you, I dove headfirst (manicure first, obviously!) into the world of LE.

You may not know how it is to join a brand as an executive. When you join a new company, the pressure's on to know your stuff! So, naturally, the second I walked through that LE door, I got my hands on every single Light Elegance product and covered my nail table. My mission? Get to know them. Intimately.

Then came the fun part—two glorious days of intensive training with the amazing Ashley Biasella (LE Educator).

We talked about products, we talked about nails, and we probably laughed way too much (sorry, Ashley!). It was exactly what I needed to kickstart my own LE education journey.

My nails quickly became the ultimate guinea pig (a very glamorous guinea pig, if I do say so myself). I've been playing with the Lexy Line like it's my personal nail playground. Sculpting? Check. Tip application? Double-check. I've slapped it on, filed it down, worn all the shapes and repeated the process more times than I can count, just for the fun of trying it all.

And JimmyGel? Oh, JimmyGel. We've had some serious bonding time (pun intended!). Honestly, every single time I use a new product or try a different technique, I swear I fall in love. It's like that feeling when you try a new shade of glitter and think, "Yep, this is the one." Except it happens with every single product in the LE lineup!

In all my years as a nail professional (and trust me, there have been a lot of years!), I've always been that person who finds their go-to product and technique and pretty much marries it.
