Meet Eileen Fox of @foxenails, a salon owner and LE Educator


Residing in Vernon, BC, Canada, Eileen embodies the roles of a dedicated mother, a supportive partner to a high school teacher, and the cherished owner of two lively wiener dogs. Her artistic journey commenced at 16, embellishing hair and makeup for her high school's theatrical productions. Winning accolades for Makeup Artistry in grade 11 propelled her passion for the beauty realm.

Following high school, Eileen embarked on a path to the film industry, attending Blanche Macdonald in Vancouver for a Makeup Artistry program. However, destiny called her back home, where she embraced a Makeup and Esthetics salon role. Her part-time stint blossomed into a full-fledged career after completing esthetics school.

ENTREPRENEURIAL VENTURES AND NAIL ARTISTRY
Stepping into managerial roles at a young age, Eileen swiftly became an Esthetic and Makeup instructor.  Later, she launched her business, Cheek to Chic, featuring a personalized Makeup and Skincare line. Driven by her dream of a full-service salon, she ventured into nail technology due to a dearth of proficient technicians. Embracing Light Elegance for its gel compatibility and glitter collection, she honed her nail skills and educated her staff, recognizing a void in local education.

EDUCATIONAL ODYSSEY WITH LIGHT ELEGANCE
Driven by her passion for teaching, Eileen enrolled in Light Elegance University, earning her diploma and initiating contact with Light Elegance HQ. Becoming an ambassador was a pinnacle achievement, albeit briefly paused due to her involvement in Next Top Nail Artist. However, securing a Top 7 spot propelled her back to Light Elegance, where she has served as an educator since 2022.

BEYOND SALON LIFE: SPORTING ENTHUSIAST AND ARTISTIC VISIONS
Off-duty, Eileen relishes hockey games with her kids and immerses herself in various sports like soccer, slow-pitch, and volleyball. Outdoor adventures, including camping with dirt bikes and ATVs, add vibrancy to her life.

FUTURE ENDEAVORS AND ASPIRATIONS
Eileen's ambitions include complete styling for a photo shoot envisioning her hair, makeup, and nails on a magazine cover. Her desire for nail competitions and adeptness at trade shows, handling setup, model styling, and client engagement fuel her aspiration for a broader platform.

Her expertise in retail sales and unwavering work ethic fortify her aspiration to teach for Light Elegance. Poised and eager, Eileen awaits an opportunity to contribute her wealth of knowledge to Light Elegance's educational ventures.
