Meet Claire Pitts of @clairepittsnails a hard working and talented LE Educator. Nestled in the serene landscapes of Lake Village, IN, Claire Pitts radiates the essence of Midwest charm.

Her roots trace back to a longstanding family farm, a cherished heritage established by her Danish immigrant ancestors over a century ago. Growing up amidst the rustic beauty of the Kankakee River, Claire shared her childhood adventures with her parents and three adored sisters.

After studying Agricultural Economics at Purdue University for 3 years, Claire came home to the family farm, where she immersed herself in the rhythms of agricultural life for seven fruitful years. However, a persistent restlessness nudged her back to Purdue, this time to conclude her bachelor's degree in Animal Science, a feat accomplished with finesse in December 2013.

Venturing into the professional world, Claire found herself overseeing operations as a line supervisor at a local meat packing facility. Despite her love for the role, challenges posed by some less-than-professional peers dampened her spirits toward the end of her tenure. Driven by a desire for autonomy, Claire resolved to carve her own path and seize control of her destiny.

CARVING A PATH OF INDEPENDENCE
The idea of creating a business from the comfort of her home, with flexible hours and no employees, soon captivated Claire's imagination. Coming from a background in the food industry, where even painted nails were deemed a luxury, rediscovering the art of nail care emerged as a liberating revelation. With a natural flair for artistry, it seemed only fitting that she delved deeper into the world of nail esthetics.

Embracing the realm of gel-based nail artistry, Claire honed her craft through extensive online tutorials, finding inspiration in the teachings of renowned educator Celina Ryden. In search of premium products, she stumbled upon Light Elegance (LE), and the rest, as they say, is history.



Entranced by the quality and finesse of LE products, Claire made the bold move to establish her own home salon, a decision that marked the beginning of a fulfilling journey.

EMBRACING LIFE’S JOYS

Amidst the whirlwind of professional achievements, Claire found her forever companion and soulmate in her husband, with whom she shares a fondness for quiet weekends at home. Their family expands to include Freya, a spirited 2-year-old Doberman Pinscher, and a charming brood of six outdoor feline friends. Together, they revel in the simple joys of household projects, gardening, and cherished moments with loved ones, often accompanied by the comforting embrace of a glass of wine or whiskey.

THRIVING THROUGH COLLABORATION

The year 2019 brought with it an exciting opportunity for Claire to represent Light Elegance, an association she eagerly embraced. Following her selection for a training program in early 2020, Claire's journey with LE has been nothing short of a delightful adventure, brimming with the joys of social media engagement, trade shows, and the camaraderie of like-minded professionals. As she fondly refers to her LE family, Claire looks ahead with optimism, anticipating many more vibrant years of collaboration and shared success.
