How do I know which Lexy Line is right for my client?

We have a gel perfect for every nail professional AND client. This means that we’ve formulated a gel to match your application speed and service type as well as the skin tone and nail type of your client.

The Lexy Line is completely versatile with 5 different viscosities—each viscosity is available in a variety of shades.

When it comes to choosing your Lexy Line product, consider the speed at which you like to work (how fast you prefer your gel to self-level), the desired service and your client's natural nail type.

What is the best Lexy Line for a beginner?

We recommend starting out with Extreme or Builder if you're new to working with builder gels.

Extreme is our most versatile Lexy Line with a medium viscosity and flexibility, making overlays or extensions a breeze and works great for most nail types.

Builder is a non self-leveling gel that will move very slowly so the gel will not run away from you. This viscosity is especially helpful when first learning how to create extensions!

What are the 5 different viscosities?

In order of most self-leveling to least self-leveling, the 5 Lexy Line viscosities are:

1-Step - Fast self-leveling

Cool Gel - Fast self-leveling

Fiber - Self-leveling

Extreme - Medium self-leveling

Builder - Non self-leveling

Pro Tip: Temperature of the gel will affect the self-leveling speed! You can use this to your advantage by warming or cooling your gels slightly to achieve a thinner or thicker viscosity. (Never microwave your gels! Use a coffee mug warmer or simply put the gel in your apron pocket prior to your service to warm).
