Celebrating Cinco de Mayo with Papel Picado Nail Art by Ashley Biasella | Viva La Fiesta
LE Educator and Nail Artist, Ashley Biasella of @BadAsh_Nails has designed a Papel Picado nail art design using the new Viva La Fiesta collection to celebrate Cinco de Mayo! Ashley shares her inspiration for the Papel Picado nail art. "This design was inspired by the folk art, festivities, and celebrations in Mexican culture. There's no celebration without music, flowers, and papel picado! These beautiful banners go all the way back to Aztec traditions, and have been used to decorate for generations. So with Cinco De Mayo coming we wanted to do something special, and this set immediately came to mind!
I was so inspired working with LE on Viva La Fiesta, getting to share our culture with others in such a fun way is something truly amazing. I am so proud of my heritage, and while here in America we celebrate Cinco De Mayo, in Mexico it is recognized as El Día de la Batalla de Pueblo (The Day of the Battle of Pueblo), it is a beautiful reminder that culture is meant to be shared, cherished, and loved. ❤️
¡Viva La Fiesta! 💃🏽

Ashley has been a part of this collection from the start with concept development and color naming to nail art creation and production on-set! We can’t thank her enough for sharing her creativity and culture with us! 💕
Viva La Fiestais truly a celebration of color and is perfectly suited for the season we all celebrate, Summer. Fiestas are filled with bold colors, happiness and abounding energy, which made the fiesta the perfect inspiration for our newest Summer collection.
